What materials do you use for La vēr Jewellery?
La vēr pieces are crafted from 14K solid gold, 925 sterling silver, and 18K gold vermeil over silver. Each piece is officially inspected and hallmarked by the Romanian Consumer Protection Authority (ANPC – Directorate for Precious Metals), ensuring the authenticity and quality of the materials used.
What is the difference between regular gold plating and vermeil?
The difference lies in the quality of the base metal and the thickness of the gold layer. Regular gold plating typically involves a thin layer of gold over a base metal like brass or copper, which may fade or irritate the skin over time. Vermeil, on the other hand, is a premium technique where a thick layer of gold (at least 2.5 microns) is applied over 925 sterling silver. This results in a more luxurious finish, greater durability, and it is nickel-free, making it safe for sensitive skin.
What is rhodium plating and why is it used in jewellery?
Rhodium plating is a premium finish applied to precious metals like white gold or 925 sterling silver. Rhodium is a rare metal from the platinum family, valued for its brilliant shine, durability, and resistance to tarnish. At La vēr, we use rhodium plating to enhance the brightness of our jewellery and protect it from scratches and wear. It also adds a luxurious finish and, being nickel-free, it’s safe for sensitive skin.

How long does delivery take?

What if the jewellery doesn’t fit?
You have 14 days to return or exchange your item, provided it is in perfect, unused condition. Customized items cannot be returned. Check our Return&Refund Policy

Yes, we offer a 24 month warranty on all products. The warranty covers manufacturing defects, but not normal wear or accidental damage.

Can I send the gift directly to someone else?
Absolutely! You can enter a different shipping address during checkout. We do not include the invoice in the package – it is sent via email.
