Warranty Policy

All La Ver products are delivered with care and come with a commercial warranty in accordance with the current legislation, OUG 140 from 28.12.2021, for a period of 2 years. Manufacturing defects will be repaired with care and free of charge, as long as the product meets the terms and conditions of the warranty.
All repair requests will be subject to inspection and expertise by our team before the request is processed, which may involve requesting additional information via email.
If La Ver's quality assurance team determines that the damages were not caused by a manufacturing defect, the customer will be notified, and if repair services are available, they will be offered with costs.

If, after the inspection, it is found that the product of the customer requesting a warranty repair is not due to a manufacturing defect, and the customer does not want the product repaired at their own expense, the round-trip transport cost will be borne by the customer, and it is 30 lei, which will be paid upon receipt of the package.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF WARRANTY
The legal commercial warranty is granted for a period of 24 months from the date the customer receives the purchased products. This warranty certifies that the product is made of 925 silver or 585 gold, checked and marked by ANPC for products over 2g, and only checked by ANPC for jewelry under 2g, in accordance with the legislation.
The commercial warranty does not cover product wear, regardless of how much time has passed since receiving the product, deformations, scratches, or any other form of accidental damage, improper use, negligence, unauthorized repairs/modifications/adjustments by third parties or the buyer, alterations made to the products, massive wear, breakage, etc.

Refunds cannot be requested for products that no longer correspond to the products delivered following the orders, such as those that are broken, damaged, bent, worn, showing signs of use, oxidized, lost, or mishandled, etc.
The commercial warranty does not cover normal wear, oxidation, and/or damage caused by loss, theft, improper use, accidents, mishandling, or malicious intent.
If a part of the jewelry (including, but not limited to, stones, chains, clasps, etc.) falls off, it should be returned together with its pieces before any repair attempt. La Ver is not responsible for missing parts or stones.
The commercial warranty does not apply to discoloration, color changes due to exposure to chemicals, makeup, swimming pools, hot baths, showers, chemical and toxic environments, or moisture.
The commercial warranty does not apply to scratches, bends, jewelry clasps, or damage to the claws that hold the stones due to negligence or other damages.
The commercial warranty does not apply to lost or stolen products.

CORRECTIVE MEASURES IN CASE OF NON-COMPLIANCE (Art. 11 of OUG 140 / 28.12.2021)
If the jewelry cannot be repaired, we can replace the defective jewelry with a similar model, another model of the same value, or refund its value.

RECOMMENDATIONS
To maintain your jewelry properly, we recommend:

  • Wear jewelry with stones or pearls carefully, as their settings do not withstand mechanical shocks.
  • Store jewelry in the boxes received upon purchasing the products or in other jewelry boxes.
  • Avoid wearing jewelry during household activities or those where there is a possibility of coming into contact with substances containing sulfur.
  • Do not wear jewelry during physical activities.
  • Avoid contact with chemicals, as they may erode the metal.
  • Precious metals may lose their shine over time if frequently exposed to agents such as perfume, saltwater, skin creams, hair spray, chlorine, or sulfur.

Depending on the degree of use, we recommend that jewelry be examined and cleaned by a jeweler at least once a year.

According to OUG 140 / 28.12.2021, the warranty consists of free repair of defects occurring in the product within the warranty period and which are not the fault of the consumer. Consumer rights are in accordance with OUG 140 / 28.12.2021. Consumer rights are not affected by the warranty conditions set forth in this Warranty Certificate.
